Monkey Business - Harpo Playing the Harp

How can you not love Harpo? Next to Groucho, he is obviously the second in command of their chaotic, crazy, and out of control films. Plus he doesn’t speak and is a wonderfully subtle master of the harp in this bit. In the end, well it all just adds up.

I distinctly remember this series of Crumb’s work being featured in Games Magazine back in the 80’s, because I was totally obsessed with that publication and collected it like crazy. Of course, this take on it is from the documentary Crumb.



Porky in Wackyland

In 1994 this classic black and white cartoon was voted #8 of The 50 Greatest Cartoons of all time and then later in 2000, it was deemed “culturally significant” by the United States Library of Congress.
